good ole memories

i just recall my first ever visit to Shillong some years back . the journey from Guwhati was full of anxiety due to train derailing near kokrajhar and the fear factor in the city. however as one neared Shillong a bit of mist started developing the area and light rains started as if welcoming me.
suddenly the town and valley of Shillong rose with breathtaking beauty asand mist cleared.
it was one of the most refreshing experiences, my worries and tirednes just vanished
i have not been able to visit back now for almost 10 years and would love to come back there to relive my memories.
