I want to visit shillong........and i have chutti of only 3 days.........so plz suggest me where should i go???.........where to stay (economical)??.........what to eat??.........what to see??......all of these.........my starting poin is guwahati.........plz guide me>>>>>>>>>

From Guwahati, you will get a number of Tata Sumos from Paltan Bazar (near the Railway station).The fare for one person is Rs 140.It will take about about 2 and 1/2 hrs to reach Shillong.The Tata Sumo will go almost upto a Place called Police Bazar in Shillong.There are thousands of Hotel in Police Bazar(its the main commercial area of Shillong)from various Tariff rates.
Shillong itself is a very beautiful place. YOu can go to Shillong Peak and the drive is awesome from there.From Shillong you can either go to Cherrapunji(about 2 hrs from Shillong) or Mawsynram which is also around two to one and half hrs away.You can also ask for more information in the hotel itself
