Khasi Girl "Shereen Shadap" to compete in World Class Event the Standard Chartered Mumbai Half Marathon

Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2010, Asia's Largest Marathon, which is an elite marathon will be held on the 17th of January 2010 at Mumbai. Incidentally the mumbai marathon has been upgraded to "Gold Label". The marathon flame has arrived from Athens for the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon. Every year, the 'Marathon Flame' is lit in Greece and then relayed across the world to any one country hosting a world-class marathon. We would like to convey our best wishes and Prayers to Shereen Shadap, A khasi girl, who is making a maiden run to compete in the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon half Marathon, i.e 21km, lets put all our prayers and wishes together so that she completes this race in good time, Good Luck Shereen make us North Easterners proud! Its so nice to know that we are being represented in this world class event.
