It has many beautiful tea plantations where one can actually watch tea being processed. Darjeeling is also a trekker's paradise and the Gorkha hill council provides ample trekking facilities to the adventure lovers.Man! trekking is definatly cool thing to do...right!

Other places to boost you interest undoubtly would be the Japanese peace pagoda, the Tenzing Norgay Himalayan Institute, Dhirdham Temple, Mahakal Temple, Ghoom Monastery, Yiga-Choiling Monastery, Senchal Lake, Sumendu Lake, Mirik town and the Padmaja Naidu Zoo that houses animals ranging from Siberian Tigers to llamas.
