Shillong.com is in need of volunteer writers!!
Shillong.com is Meghalaya's online presence on the Internet! Although we hail from Shillong, we need writers all over the world!
Shillong.com is looking for volunteer writers in your area to review cd's, live shows and more! We are also looking for feature writers with great interview skills! Our writers will be responsible for interviewing bands and creating original, interesting and informative articles. They will take assignments for features and column - like articles (personal interest), as well as
submit their own according the bands they contact and/or see.
Reviewers will listen to cd's and write honest articles based on the band/artist's talent as well as attend and critique live shows. They will accept assignments as well as review other independent artists/bands they might come across and submit for publication. Must be non-biased and be able to HONESTLY criticize multiple genres of music. (We will always try to cater to your personal preferences, but at times, there may be an overload of content in a genre that you aren't fond of. We require our reviewers to keep an open mind and honestly critique based on TALENT.) Assignments and submissions are on a voluntary basis at this time, but you will always receive 100% credit for what you do.

The shillong's developed mini-world beauty in accordance with its miniature size, coupled with natural beauty is fabulous & one could hardly forget. During my official visit to this place, I was so much impressed with it that I was thinking of buying a property to stay at there permanently, before deciding overall factors, which could be affecting future life of my next generations & scope for educational & employment opportunities at there.
No doubt it is a divine place to enjoy.
I have recently visited Shillong and the surrounding districts like Garo Hills, penursla, Jowai and Cherrapunji. I was so much impressed with the nature showring its beauty on the entire state that i resisted the temptation to stay permanently there. Inidially I was a bit uncomfortable with BAMJA but then realised that it is the most suitable diet to keep oneself light. I am a vegetarian and hence could not relish the MOMO dish so much recommended by friends. But still I fell in love with the nature there.
hello der...................do u kno wat BAMJA really means.........???m glad u lov Shillong!!!thank you!!!
