"uranium-boon or a panic boom?"

Its seems utter nonsensical when the so called responsible gvt raise there thump for uranium mining before clearing the doubt n the fear surrounding it. Any steps taken for progress n development has n essence of growth n welfare embedded in it. Any steps towards progress are always backed by the people support...which seems the project lacks...its ironical that the state which is naturally so rich is economically so poor. Uranium mining would be a bold step towards economization n growth.. gvt should come up with some affirmative plan or course of action first, which will remove the fear n the myth surrounding it, they should come up with an action plan and procedure which is ecological n which will erase the fear of radiation or any harm to the people or to the environment.. For a common layman uranium is nothing but a subject wrapped in fear n confusion..Before taking any action gvt must clear the cloud of fear n confusion..."it can be a boon to people provided if handled with care".
