Led by state unit president Shibun Lyngdoh, the delegation is scheduled to hold the close door meeting with BJP president Amit Shah where NEDA convenor Himanta Biswa Sarma, BJP leader Ram Madhab and central secretary for Meghalaya Nolin Kohli will attend.
Senior BJP leaders in New Delhi told that apart from finalizing poll strategies, the meeting is expected to prepare the schedule for Amit Shah’s Meghalaya tour.
“Now BJP is gradually gaining popularity in the north eastern state. People in this north eastern state are completely fed up with the Congress government which has been failing to deliver the goods. Now BJP is now the only option,” said a senior party leader in Shillong.
