SHILLONG: In a bid to boost the morale of party in rank and file in the pre poll political landscape, BJP president Amit Shah will be on a day long visit to Meghalaya on January 6.
Senior BJP leaders in Shillong said Shah, who has rescheduled his visit will hold a huge rally at Tikrikilla in Garo hills along with several state and central leaders.
Then he would come to the capital city of Shillong where he would formally the state unit office in the afternoon. State leaders claimed to have received some feelers from a number of sitting Congress MLAs who want to join central ruling party.
But a state Congress leader told Shillong.com that these were speculations only which have no base. He said no sitting Congress legislator would join BJP.
