Conrad and colleagues sworn in

SHILLONG: Allaying all uncertainties Conrad Sangma took oath as Meghalaya chief minister in the NPP-led coalition government on Tuesday.
Governor Ganga Prasad administered the NPP president along with his council of ministers the oath of office and secrecy at a function in the Raj Bhawan in Shillong at 10 in the morning. All coalition partners have one each berth in the council of minister. The portfolios are expected to be announced within the next 24 hours.

Union  home minister Rajnath Singh, BJP president Amit Shah, Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal, his Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh counter parts Biren Singh and Pema Khandu were prominent among those who attended the swearing in ceremony.
