Sangma’s date with Jitendra in Delhi

New Delhi: Meghalaya chief minister Conrad  Sangma on Monday claimed to have received full support and cooperation from the Centre to implement a slew of projects which have yet to see the light of the day. 

Sangma, who arrived in the capital on Sunday evening called on DoNER minister Jitendra Singh and apprised him of the prevailing state of affairs in the Central government projects and schemes in the north eastern state. 

Sangma told Singh that these projects and schemes need to be totally implemented on priority basis since the state is going to host the National Games in 2022. 

Singh assured Sangma of all help and assistance from the Centre to help the north eastern state accelerate the peace of development one month after change of guard at Shillong.
